Papers and such. Yay.
Well, Ned Stein has really laid it on. Richter thinks all the courses will be like this from here on out and that we have had it easy.
Get this. Due Week 3: Thesis, outline, and list of sources for big-ass (1050-1400 word) individual paper due week 4; Critical Analysis paper (700-1050) words; and outline for team big-ass (1400 words) paper due week 5 plus power-point presentation.
(I had never done a powerpoint presentation, let alone standing up in front of a class, before starting this; I have now done approximately 10 of them and got a grade from last teacher of 9.5 out of 10 for presentation, told I was a natural. Humph.)
And oh yeah, next class due Week Friggin ONE: 750 word paper. I have GOT to quit frittering away my weekends, and save some time for homework... along with everything else I have to do in two days. F*ck.
This 5-week schedule is a bitch, and I'D REALLY LIKE A BREAK. No breaks between classes at all, at least not til Thanksgiving. No such thing as spring break or summer break, unless the holiday falls on Thursday. However, I must keep in mind that it will (should? no. will) all be worth it when I am done.. already planning on whether to bring a camera or a cowbell under the matriculation robes.. it's all been done already but hey, I have to do something crazy, y'know?
