Skool.

I am really having a good time with this beginning class; it's basically set up to get people like me back into the college atmosphere with papers due & class time, etc. It's a lot of fun. The two that were going to drop out have actually made up their minds to stay; appears they are going to get their papers done & etc.

On the first paper I have written in literally 20 years, I got a 96. Got the red pen with semi-colons marked in about 6 places & forgot my paper title & page number on the actual paper, but also "great job" across the bottom of the second page. Had to do 500-750 words; 596 words = page n 1/2, Times New Roman font, double spaced & formatted 1" margin all round. Not too bad if I do say so myself.

Next class, HUM/150; Introduction to Film, starts 12/8. Looks quite interesting. $71.59 for the friggin book, though. As Chris would say, "Welcome back to college !" with that wicked grin of his. Just hope I can resell the thing when I get done with the class.

I now have to get a cat off my keyboard & see if she will stay in the kitchen tonight without pooping all over it; it's 37 degrees outside, which means about 29 in the actual garage where she sleeps.
