In the immortal words of Artie Johnson, "Hmmmm. Veddy Interesting."
Speaking to Mr. Tolf after class on Thursday. Current class is Critical Thinking, which made my head hurt just thinking (heh) about it.
However, one of the topics was speech vs. thought; can a thought be expressed in ways other than actual speech? Various ways were talked about; art, music, etc. I didn't get a chance to talk in class, but went up to Mr Tolf afterward and explained about Dudeboy and his Aspergers; also about the theory that most autistics literally think in pictures and not in words. He was very interested in that theory and also wanted more details about Dudeboy and how he expresses himself. I have a couple of pictures Dudeboy drew, especially one where he described his biological dad as a tree (??!!?? whatever) that I have saved over the years and will bring them to class to show Mr. Tolf. We spoke for over 15 minutes on that topic.
Hee. Got 100 on my first paper, on perspectives and how events have changed it. This may be easier than I thought.
